This statement and Policy are in response to the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Q Sustain does not tolerate slavery or human trafficking within any part of our business and endeavor to ensure that it does not occur at any point in our supply chains. Q Sustain aim to conduct our business with respect, transparency and integrity, which we believe is reflected in our business relationships and actions.
We are aware of the impacts of human trafficking and modern slavery, the potential for these issues to arise within our supply chains and the huge damage that the results can have. Consequently, we have implemented and strongly enforce effective systems and controls within our business and with our suppliers to ensure that these risks do not become a reality.
As part of our ISO certification for 9001 and 14001, due diligence is carried out on all suppliers prior to placing them on our Approved Providers List, which identifies any potential areas that require further investigation. As part of provider approval, a risk assessment is carried out to evaluate the potential for malpractice before proceeding, which can result in further assurances being acquired or seeking alternative suppliers. Providers must prove their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 before approval can be granted.
We understand that slavery and human trafficking is an ongoing issue that requires careful monitoring and continual attention in order for our delivery of safe and moral work to our clients who value these issues as highly as we do.
