Q Sustain Ltd is a young firm of specialist consultants, specialising in Engineering and Sustainable solutions to ensure regulatory and legal compliance. Q Sustain provides cost-effective Project and technical support and strategic advisory to the built environment. The organisation is committed to the prevention of pollution and carbon reduction; we aim to continuously improve our environmental performance through the support and involvement of all employees and any other interested parties. All Q Sustain employees are encouraged to report their observations on how we can continue to improve our environmental performance. In recognition of this, we have implemented an environmental management system which aims to:
- Maximise efficient use of natural resources through office best practice guidelines.
- Continue to operate a purchasing policy to ensure as much material as possible is sourced from recycled material.
- Reduce the amount of energy consumed during office hours by efficiently using equipment and operating our ‘switch off when not in use’ policy.
- Continue to encourage our clients, suppliers and stakeholders to adopt our environmental principles and develop an environmental management system in their own organisations.
- Review our EMS, including this policy, and publish an Environmental and Sustainability Statement annually.
- Adherence to all relevant Environmental legislation.
- Ensure Carbon Literacy of staffs and promote it within supply chain.
